Cylinder head bolts, freeze plugs, flywheel bolts, main bolts, rod bolts, stainless steel engine fastener kits and more. Unless I'm missing something, this seems like a simple, cheap solution to the whole dual master cylinder and brace clearance issue - and it's adjustable (add or remove shims as needed) - and it can easily be completely undone if desired. And you would probably want to do this to both braces, just to keep things balanced. You would want the shims to be flat plate steel, perhaps 1 1/4-inch square with the bolt hole in the middle - this would insure a good, solid fit to prevent the brace from 'wobbling' on top of the shims. I don't have any master cylinder installed right now, so I don't know how much clearance is needed, but I'm sure 2 inches would not be necessary - probably only 1 inch or less. With the end of the brace that connects to the shock tower still loose, I found I could easily raise that end of the brace over 2 inches with no effort - and no distortion at the cowl end - so there's no reason I can see why as much as 2 inches of shims could not be placed between the brace and the 'tongue' of the mounting plate that it bolts to on the shock tower. It works great! The trick is to bolt the end of the brace to the cowl first.
